Situated in Essex Road, just a minute’s walk from Upper Street, Islington’s main drag, The Living Room boasts a huge uncluttered space, which belies its double fronted exterior. The large U shaped bar is its central feature with comfortable seating to two sides and the restaurant seating area to its remaining aspect. We went there to sample the new spring menu,that we understand has been rolled out across The Living Room chain.

Mango Tree Thai New Year Party – 8th April 2009 in association with Chang Beer
As part of the celebrations, throughout April, Mango Tree will be supporting WaterAid, a charity helping to overcome poverty by enabling the world’s poorest people to gain access to safe water. Diners at Mango Tree will have the opportunity to donate 50p each for unlimited tap water, with all donations going straight to WaterAid. This is part of the charity’s Tap into WaterAid initiative, where restaurants across the UK are encouraging their customers to make a small donation in return for tap water.
