Fun and games of a ramen quiz and a chopstick using competition all helped the event rattle along nicely while the adventure of the outside lavs gave everyone who used them a war story to dine out on. All in all a good night out with fun food and all involved put on a solid performance

Satisfy your gut with Burger King’s Satisfries
Burger King has just released a new type of fries which aims to satisfy customers whilst being significantly healthier. Satisfries are a new French fries offering that contains 30% less fat than in Burger King’s nearest competitor’s offering. Released in the USA in 2013 to positive response, Burger King now hope that the fries will take the UK by storm too.

Waterloo sunset – Lower Marsh Market
Lower Marsh is the rather grim street at the side of Waterloo station with its unloved charity shops, tatty vintage and sex stores. A couple of greasy spoons complete the picture, although I do confess a liking for the homely Camel & Artichoke pub, which dates back to the days when the Artichoke was an old hostellery past which artichokes were transported from the docks to the tables of Westminster and the City

Upstairs, at the Notting Hill Gate itsu [dining]’s Butterfly Bar, underneath the rainbow-painted wall decorations and surrounded by sweeping views of London by night, courtesy of the floor-to-ceiling windows, the room was buzzing with book launch chatter.
