Montezuma’s new chocolate bar trio

Chocolate tastes even better when it’s an extra piece illicitly purloined from Montezuma’s irresistible and occasionally unattended sample trays. Perhaps that’s why the company have furnished me with a few bars of my own, so that I’ll stay away from the stores. Fine by me – I’m already relishing the fact that these bars are legitimately mine, all mine.

The talented team behind the festival is back with TOAST, Cornwall – the first of a’series of food events to whet your appetite and delve a little deeper into the gastronomical world’. Taking place on Sunday 18th August at LASSCO, Maltby Street Market 

Downstairs at Harrison’s

It’s compact this new bar but not cramped, although large parties could easily dominate the room if there wasn’t a no standing policy in force, and tables can be reserved to ensure a seat. The cocktail list is redolent of prohibition  USA and of  F Scott Fitzgerald swapping finely-honed epigrams with Zelda, but the food is on today’s hit list of must haves.
