On Saturday 23 November, London food festival TOAST plays host to the Wine Sessions, a day of talks and tasting based in Clerkenwell, with a portion of ticket proceeds going to charity 2Water.org.

Sunday 3rd November saw Action Against Hunger’s Global Gastronomy event take place at Vivek Singh’s Cinnamon Kitchen in Devonshire Square. It was a night of delicious fare from around the world, courtesy of some of the finest chefs in town, each providing a different course in order to raise funds for people struggling with hunger and malnutrition all over the world.

Simon Rogan’s Cumbrian restaurant L’Enclume was recently named Best Restaurant in the UK by the Good Food Guide 2014, and Restaurant of the Year at the 2013 Observer Food Monthly Awards. Now the acclaimed chef turns his attention to the capital, where he will head the as-yet-unnamed new restaurant at Claridge’s.
