A locally loved bistro in a legendary theatre.
Honey & Co restaurant review
Much has been made by critics of the’love’ that goes into the cooking at Honey and Co and it’s easy to see why. The food isn’t complex in terms of technique or presentation, it just tastes very, very good.
Stephen St Restaurant
They do breakfast, brunch and dinner here and I like that. A working restaurant for people on the move and ideal if you’re coming to see a film, as you won’t miss the start and you can have something to eat after. Yes I cannot resist the easy ending, as casual affordable eating, it’s right up my street.
Pizza Rossa, Leadenhall
There’s a pleasant sourness to the base and no sense that it will carry on fermenting long after you’ve eaten it, the reason so many cheap pizzas make you feel bloated.
Benihana – 9 course Ladies Lunch
Chefs today, they think they’re so smart but how many of them can toss an onion in the air using just a knife and then catch it behind their back? Or in their hat?
Le Relais de Venise “L’Entrecôteâ€Â, Canary Wharf
On the anniversary of Bastille Day, Emma travels East to see just how good the steak really is at Le Relais de Venise “L’Entrecôteâ€Â, a place that’s famous for one dish and one dish only: steak frites.
The Lucky Pig
Lucy Self goes underground to sample cocktails and pizetta.
60 Hope Street
Trendy, colourful, great food and definitely a place to visit in Liverpool
Northcote Manor, Lancashire
Lancashire fine dining places don’t get enough copy; Michelin-starred restaurant and country house Northcote Manor, to my mind, is one of these.
TOZI
TOZI is a feast in all senses, one bad pud aside, and even if it didn’t get Emma all the way to a Venetian waterfront by the close of the main courses she was happily floating half way there past Portsmouth and Padua and somewhere near il paradiso.
