The London Fine Meat Company deliver. Excellent quality meats delivered to your door.

The London Fine Meat Company was established in late 2009. Stuart Ferretti, who owns the company, has a long history in the meat industry and his initial intention in setting it up was to supply the restaurant trade in and around London with quality meats. Costa Launch New Costa Light Coffee

At less than 80 calories for a primo serving (the smallest cup size) Costa Light involves a new production technique of adding Costa’s Mocha Italia espresso to skimmed milk in its own jug, and frothing, which creates a milder, lighter coffee.

The Three Stags, Kennington Road, London

Sitting on the corner of the crossroads with the Imperial War Museum opposite, The Three Stags could best be described as a prime example of an old London pub. Deluxe Bento Boxes at Great Eastern Dining Room

The newly launched four-strong selection of Japanese-inspired bento boxes offers a snapshot of the restaurant’s contemporary Asian menus. Summery Duck and Watermelon Salad, Maki Rolls and Black Cod and Yuzu Miso – all favourites from the Great Eastern Dining Room – make an appearance on the bento menu alongside superior Sushi and Sashimi and classic Tempura.

Give peas a chance

A pea picked from your own plot though is another matter. As long as you don’t leave them in the fridge for days then you have the only pea that’s better than a frozen one. The pods burst open with a crisp crack and a little spray of moisture hits your hands. Quickly rattle the peas out into a bowl, toss the pod into your bucket for the compost heap or for stock and sing along to your favourite tune on the radio
