It’s good for us! Recipes with Olive Oil

The UK now consumes 28 million litres of olive oil each year, which accounts for 2.9% of the world’s consumption. This is being attributed to the rise in reports that the Mediterranean diet is one of the healthiest in the world and it seems like we’re taking notice! Here are some recipes using olive oil that you might like to try.

Bob Bob Ricard, Upper James Street, London

Bob Bob Ricard is a great place to eat, you could simply go there and experience the Zakuski and ice cold vodka, or other small plates, with vodka shots or other drinks, alternatively choose from their a la carte menu which has items to suit all pockets. We had a great time there and will definitely go back. We loved it and are sure you will.

Riddle and Finns, Brighton

I was worried from its name, look and location that Riddle and Finns would be a bit too cutesy, too in love with itself, but instead it was a friendly place with breezy staff and generally tidy cooking for a fair price. I can’t recommend the whelks though, I think mother is still gamely chewing hers three days later. Keep calm and carry on!

Pol Pol Roger

In celebration of appointing Pol Roger as their new house pour, Mayfair’s Bob Bob Ricard restaurant will be offering a complimentary flute of the wine with lunches throughout July.
